At 2 AM this morning, the Polish lower chamber of Parliament voted to ban fur farming! The law, which won a monumental battle, will also ban ritual slaughter for exports and the use of wild animals in circuses.

Victory! Czechia bans cages for hens, now EU must follow

Today, the lower house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic banned cages for laying hens from 2027. Compassion in World Farming welcomes this progress, as well as the commitment of Czech policy-makers to push for an EU-level ban.
