We welcome today's EU Parliament vote on superbugs

New legislation aimed at ending the overuse of antibiotics in farming has been approved by the European Parliament today, 25 October 2018. The legislation will ban preventative mass medication of groups of healthy animals from 2022.

The 'End the Cage Age' European Citizens' Initiative (ECI) was launched in the European Parliament and in many Member States with the support of MEPs, national NGOs and celebrities – including Pamela Anderson!
