Open letter by civil society on the live animals shipment to the Middle East

Following an attack on a ship carrying some 12,000 live animals from the EU to the port of Haifa, we wrote to EU Commissioner Kyriakides urging to suspend all live animal shipments from the EU to the region for as long as hostilities continue.
